Watertight Bathrooms was founded in 2018 by Paul Tarbard and is run as a Yorkshire family business, with showrooms in Harrogate and Horsforth displaying full European bathroom ranges. It is the kind of firm you visit to plan a bathroom properly — a 3D CAD design produced before any work begins, and a designer who works through your space with you.
What sets it apart is that everything stays in-house. Seven bathroom fitters, more than 150 years of combined experience, no subcontractors, and one all-inclusive fixed price that includes the electrician, plasterer and decorating. A tiny en-suite, turned into a wet room
The brief — How do you turn a very small en-suite with a cramped shower cubicle into something that feels open and generous — without losing the space to a tray and a set of doors?
What we did — An open walk-in layout, fully tanked and CAD-planned for drainage, behind a single fluted screen — paired with dark glazed tiles, a backlit mirror and a wall-hung vanity to keep the floor clear. Linda visited both showrooms, took Tim's advice, and had Tris fit it out.

The tiling, in particular, is perfect
The brief — A compact en-suite leaves no room for error — the tiling, the enclosure and the fittings all have to line up, and the disruption of fitting it has to be liveable in an occupied home.
What we did — Bright marble-effect tiling, a neat quadrant enclosure and a wall-hung WC beneath the window make the most of a tight footprint. Sharon asked for the same fitter, Ashley, a second time — clean, tidy, and the floors cleaned every night.

From first design to the final clean.

Showroom appointment & home visit
It starts with a design appointment at the Harrogate or Horsforth showroom — around two hours with the European brand displays in front of you — followed by an in-home technical survey so the design is built around your real space.

3D CAD design & fixed price
We produce a 3D CAD design and present it before any work begins, at the showroom or in your home. The all-inclusive fixed price covers everything — electrician, plasterer and decorating included — so you know exactly what you are getting.

Fitted, updated, cleaned up
Our own fitters carry out the work — typically ten days or more — arriving at 8am, keeping you updated daily via a WhatsApp group, and removing all waste each evening. Private work carries a two-year labour guarantee.
