Watertight Bathrooms was founded in 2018 by Paul Tarbard and is a genuinely family-run Yorkshire firm. We design and install complete bathrooms with our own in-house team — twelve people carrying over 150 years of combined experience, including seven dedicated fitters. Nothing is subcontracted, which is exactly why the finish is so consistent.
It begins in one of our two showrooms — Harrogate or Horsforth, Leeds — where displays from Porcelanosa, Hansgrohe, Ca' Pietra and more let you see the real thing. We produce a 3D CAD design, visit your home to measure and survey, then fit the room over a typical ten-plus days. Fitters arrive at 8am, clear all waste every evening, and a WhatsApp group keeps you updated daily. The price we quote includes everything — electrician, plasterer and decorating.

The brief — A very small en-suite with a tired shower cubicle — the kind of awkward space most firms would simply re-fit like-for-like rather than rethink.
What we did — After discussions at both the Horsforth and Harrogate showrooms and a home visit, the room was reworked as an open-plan wet room with specialist tanking and CAD-planned drainage. The all-inclusive price covered electrician, plasterer and decorating, and a WhatsApp group kept daily updates flowing.

A second en-suite, fitted stress-free
The brief — A returning customer wanting a new en-suite — with the expectation, set by the first project, that the quality and the tidiness would be exactly the same again.
What we did — The same fitter, Ashley, carried out the installation, from the selection of high-quality products through to the tiling. The house was cleared and the floors cleaned every evening, keeping disruption to a minimum from first day to handover.

Showroom design appointment
Book a consultation (around two hours) at our Harrogate or Horsforth showroom. See European brand displays in person, talk through how you want the room to work, and start shaping the design with our team.

3D CAD design & home survey
We produce a 3D CAD presentation before any work begins, and visit your home to measure and carry out a technical survey. You approve the design and receive an all-inclusive fixed price — electrician, plasterer and decorating included.

Fitted by our own team
Our in-house fitters take out the old suite and install the new one over a typical ten-plus days. They arrive at 8am, remove all waste daily, and a WhatsApp group keeps you updated. Backed by a two-year labour guarantee.
